HP EliteDesk 800 G3 is a mini desktop computer designed for business use and comes with the technical specs of an advanced 6th Intel i5-6500T processor, 256GB Solid State Drive, 16GB DDR4 memory, Windows 10 Professional 64-bit operating system, and decent connectivity options. It was first available at Amazon.com on October 6, 2020 and is ranked the 17th best selling mini computer.

The quarter 4 of 2015 release quad-core Intel i7-6500T processor (4 threads without hyperthreading) runs at the speeds of 2.5GHz and 3.1GHz with the turbo frequency as needed by the more demanding tasks at hand, business or other. It has an average CPU Passmark benchmark score of 4805 on the day of this post release. The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is 35 watts for a low energy consumption. 256GB SSD will be an adequate amount of local storage for the majority of computer users and is way faster than a regular HDD SATA drive.

16GB DDR4 SDRAM memory (2 x 8GB) is a decent amount of memory that will be more than enough for a good percentage of users. Only those with the extreme multitasking needs will want more memory. Intel i5-6500T processor is already a relatively powerful CPU with a decent amount of multitasking capability. Windows 10 Pro operating system has all the user-friendly features of Windows 10 Home, plus the built-in management, business and security features to make your life easier with work and otherwise.

There is no dedicated external graphics card on this machine but the integrated Intel HD 530 graphics card. It is an entry level GPU that is about 25% more powerful than the Intel HD 4600 and you can play the modern games at the lowest settings. The sound card is the Synaptics HD Audio driver for a reasonable audio performance. Connectivity options include a VGA port , 2 x DPs- Display ports, WiFi & Bluetooth through an included adapter, an Ethernet RJ-45 connector, 2 x microphone / headphone combos, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 4 x USB 2.0 ports and a USB Type-C port.
